Casey Hurt is a complicated man singing songs from a simpler time. His blend of Americana, soul and folk make for a nakedly honest songwriting style that creates a completely enveloping live experience.
The richness in his songs revel the honest emotions that most of us keep hidden, and that lesser song writers would shy away from. Hurt won the Alchemist Magazine's award for best acoustic performer of 2008 in Corvallis Oregon, the 5th smartest city in the US as ranked by Forbes Magazine.
